Why does The Wallace Foundation support this project?

Why does The Wallace Foundation support the study and the online calculator?  Two reasons.

First, we believe quality is worth paying for, and that high-quality programs are the ones that can keep kids engaged and produce real benefits.

Second, through many years of supporting learning in the out-of-school hours, we have heard time and again that there is a lack of information on what quality programs cost.
